1. How old were you when you started playing music?
I was 4 when I started on piano.
2. Who were your biggest musical inspirations?
My biggest musical inspirations were artists and composers like George Gershwin, Beethoven, Bach, Rachmaninoff, as well as jazz legends like John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Dizzy Gillespie.
3. Where do you make your home?
Anaheim, California
4. Do you have any pets? No.
5. What is the best concert you have ever done?
One of the highlights was playing "Tequila Moon" for the first time at the Catalina JazzTrax Festival.
6. What is the best concert you have ever attended?
That’s hard to answer. I’ve been to so many amazing concerts. Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple at the Hollywood Bowl that brought tears to my eyes, one of them being Andrea Bocelli.
7. Do you have an all-time favorite song?
Yes, my favorite song is "Groovy Samba" by Cannonball Adderley.
8. Which musician would you like to work with?
I’ve always wanted to collaborate with Carlos Santana.
9. If you weren’t a musician, what would you be?
A physician.
10. What is your favorite thing about Vancouver?
I love the beautiful plants.
