1. How old were you when you first started playing Saxophone/Flute?
By all accounts I was a late starter in high school, when I was 15 years old.
2. Who was/is your biggest musical inspiration?
There were several the most influential earlier on were Charlie Parker and John Coltrane, than came Grover Washington Junior and of course David Sanborn and Michael Brecker.
3. Where do you make your home?
I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
4. Do you have any pets?
No pets at this time but had several cats over the years. The one that was closest to my heart was called 'Saxy’ of course…lol
5. What is the best concert/gig you have ever done?
Several but the most memorable was playing the Canadian and American National anthems at Rogers Centre for the Oakland/Blue Jays game to a crowd of over 50,000 the year the Blue Jays won!
6. What is the best concert you have ever attended?
Weather Report at Ontario Place
7. Do you have an all-time favourite song or album?
Many but a modern ballad album Pearls by the great late David Sanborn
8. What musician would you still most like to work with?
Sting
9. If you weren't a musician what would you be?
Entrepreneur/ Good Will Ambassador
10. What is your favourite thing about Vancouver?
The beautiful views and spectacular landscape … and of course the people!
