  • Boats in the Park

    Visit the Steam Museum for a weekend of boat-themed family fun! The Museum is pleased to welcome back the Confederation Marine Modellers as they demonstrate a variety of radio-controlled model boats in the park. Visitors can check out the boats sailing on our miniature pond, catch a ride on a miniature train provided by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers, take a tour of the museum, and create some boat-themed crafts in our hands-on activity area. Come out and celebrate Hamilton’s boat building history! FREE event. Museum admission by donation. Donations can be made by cash or card at the Museum admission desk.

  • Bike Day 2025

    Join hundreds of cyclists at Hamilton City Hall from 7:30 to 9:30 am as part of our Annual Bike Day celebration.

    There will be refreshments (while supplies last) and great company!

    This will be a drop in event with no formal presentations.

  • Ag Day!

    Join us on June 6, 2025, for a day celebrating the heart of our community. Get up close with live farm animals from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., explore local vendors, and delve into Hagersville’s rich history. Sgt. Andrew Harnett Memorial Park will be buzzing with excitement, featuring live music, family-friendly activities, delicious food trucks, and captivating art displays until 10 p.m. Everyone is welcome to this free event, so bring your friends and family for a fun-filled day!

  • 2nd Annual Janjic Memorial Golf Tournament

    Please join us at the 2nd Annual Petra Janjic Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday June 7th, 2025 at Tyanadaga Golf Course in Burlington.  Golfers and Non-Golfers alike can enjoy the after-event reception at Jersey's Bar & Grill (1450 Headon Road, Burlington).

    Our inaugrual event in 2024 was a smashing success, raising over $50,000 for the Petra Janjic Memorial Scholarship!

    About Putting for Petra

    During her grade 12 exams in 2023, Petra was taken from us after a short, courageous battle withcancer. Her bright spirit and legacy live on in a significant annual academic award to an exceptional graduating student in the Hamilton District School Board.

    All Proceeds from the Petra Janjic Memorial Golf Tournament go to fund the Petra Janjic Memorial Scholarship.  The scholarship is administered by the Hamilton Foundation for Student Success (HFSS), a registered charity.

  • Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek

    Witness the re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek June 6, 1813, a significant turning point in the War of 1812. Bring the whole family for period games, food, demonstrations, historical music and fireworks. Visit the merchants and military encampment and discover traditional pastimes. The event features Indigenous programming including a narrated ‘Great Peace Game’ of Haudenosaunee Lacrosse on the Battlefield prior to each Battle Re-enactment on Saturday, June 3. After the game, the young men will be joined by Haudenosaunee singers and dancers who will share Gada:tro (Standing Quiver Dance), and the Smoke Dance with audience participation.
