  • Children's Garden Project of Hamilton's Meet Shania Fundraiser
    The Children’s Garden Project Canada (TCGPC) is a volunteer-driven, non-for-profit organization based in Hamilton’s Gage Park. Our mission is to provide free, hands-on educational programming that empowers under-resourced children and families to engage with nature, learn sustainable gardening practices, and become responsible environmental stewards in a safe, inclusive, and accessible space. Currently we provide programming to over 3,500 kids & families over the course of the gardening season.
     
    Score two tickets to a Shania Twain concert in Toronto July 16th  - including a  Backstage Meet & Greet Autographed photo & Lyrics The winner will be drawn June 23
     
    All proceeds  will go to providing more ‘free' programming to the kids and youth wanting to participate in Hamilton’s Children’s Garden Project

  • Golf4Life 2025

    Celebrating its 29th year, Golf4Life is a great day of fun, friendly competition, and networking opportunities. It’s about coming together as a community to support those who need a place to call home during the critical illness of a loved one. By joining us on the links, you’ll be making a difference in the lives of many.

    Early Bird Registration closes on March 31st and is $200 per golfer or $800 for a foursome. Regular Registration is $250 per golfer or $1000 for a foursome. A Premium Package is available to add more fun to your day, including a Mulligan, entry into the Putting Contest, and access to on-course challenges like Longest Drive & Closest to the Pin for an even more exciting experience.

    MacKids Walk & Wheel is a family-friendly event that rallies communities across the region to raise funds for McMaster Children’s Hospital. 

    It’s an opportunity to celebrate, inspire, and make a meaningful difference for young patients and their families.

    With friendly races for all ages and abilities and an entire Miraclefest village of activities for the little ones, MacKids Walk & Wheel is the place to be.

    And here's the best part: from April 1 to April 30, our Diamond Sponsor, CPKC will match all donations (up to $25,000). That means every dollar you raise will go twice as far!

  • Boats in the Park

    Visit the Steam Museum for a weekend of boat-themed family fun! The Museum is pleased to welcome back the Confederation Marine Modellers as they demonstrate a variety of radio-controlled model boats in the park. Visitors can check out the boats sailing on our miniature pond, catch a ride on a miniature train provided by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers, take a tour of the museum, and create some boat-themed crafts in our hands-on activity area. Come out and celebrate Hamilton’s boat building history! FREE event. Museum admission by donation. Donations can be made by cash or card at the Museum admission desk.
