Join us for Famajam, a FREE Family Art Day hosted by Dundas Valley School of Art.

1:30–4:30pm
 Drop-in  No registration required  All Ages Welcome Our Family Art Days are all about making art and having fun with your family. Designed for beginners to advanced artists of all ages, this is a unique opportunity to create alongside one another in a variety of mediums from painting to pottery. It’s also a chance to learn more about DVSA and meet our talented faculty members.
Activities best suited to artists aged 3+. Please bring a bag or box to take home your projects.
 Help local families by donating non-perishable items to our food drive in support of Hamilton Food Share. Famajam is made possible through the generous support of incite Foundation for the Arts.

Misfit Market: A Community Arts & Crafts Market
The Misfit Market is a vibrant, community-driven event that celebrates creativity, connection, and local businesses. Hosted every other Sunday from January to April 2025 at Mahtay Café in St. Catharines, this market brings together a diverse group of emerging artists, crafters, and small businesses offering unique, handmade goods.

What sets the Misfit Market apart is its commitment to supporting those in need. 10% of all sales made at the market, along with a portion of the vendor fees, are donated to Gillian’s Place, an organization that provides safety and resources for women and children escaping domestic violence.

In addition, Wilfrid Laurier University is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Brantford with a Purple and Gold Party at One Market (1 Market Street). From 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., this family-friendly event will feature free, fun activities for all ages, including bouncy castles, games such as giant Jenga and Connect 4, corn hole, mini putt, entertainment, and complimentary cupcakes (while supplies last). Guests are asked to enter through the doors at the corner of Dalhousie Street and Market Street.

Rotary Family Day Hero Breakfast in Support of Food4Kids Hamilton
Come join us for a delicious pancake breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 551 in Waterdown, ON! This event is all about supporting Food4Kids Hamilton - a fantastic cause which currently supports 30+ children in our local Waterdown community.
Bring your family and friends for a morning of food, fun, and giving back to the community. Our theme this year is HEROs so feel free to dress as your favourite local hero (nurse, police officer, soldier, firefighter, etc) or even your favourite action hero. There will be a lot of hero based activities for the kids to participate in at the event.
Let's come together as heroes and make a difference! See you there!

A Motivational Evening of Music and Movement jump starting our bodies and minds into Health and Wellness for 2025. Celebrating our Healthy Heart -- and the month of LOVE -- as we Fall In Love with Ourselves.
Award-winning fitness instructor and motivational speaker Joan Minnery will spearhead the event.
Joan will lead you through a few simple routines and introduce you to the art of movement while singing, known as CROONERcize.
We will also discuss heart health, self-care, and self-love as we strive to emphasize ourselves.

Inch Park Skating Club
Inch Park Skating Club registration is now open! First session starts October 18th at 6:10pm for ages 4-7. Second session starts October 18th at 7:15pm for ages 8+. This program will run from October 18th - March 7th. They are closed December 27th, 2024. Times may vary if the ice requires a flood. Dates & times may be subject to change.
