Join Harmony Baptist Church for a free pancake breakfast on Canada Day! Enjoy pancakes, breakfast sausages, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. Kids can enjoy some activities while the family enjoys a free community meal! Monetary and non-perishable donations will be collected for Neighbour 2 Neighbour food bank.

For over 30 years Lynden Canada Day has been a wonderful day of family fun, community pride and patriotism. Lynden Canada Day is a not-for-profit event organized by a committee of unpaid volunteers from Lynden and surrounding neighbourhoods. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the City of Hamilton’s Community Partnership Program, the Lynden Lions and donations from the day’s delighted visitors, we raise all the funds required to run the day. As a result of that generosity, the entire day – all activities & games, live entertainment, and the best fireworks show in the area – is entirely free for our community’s families. We think that’s a tradition worth continuing!

Celebrate Canada Day at Bayfront Park presented by The City of Hamilton and Sonic Unyon!

Join us on July 1, 2026, from 3 pm to 10 pm for a day packed with free programming including live music featuring Texas King and more, delicious food trucks, a licensed beer garden, bouncy castles, family activities, games, and entertainment for all ages. Cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks display after sunset.
