Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs.

On the first weekend of May every year, Jane’s Walk festivals take place in hundreds of cities around the world. Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.

Hamilton has been participating in Jane's Walk since 2013. Discover free walks around Hamilton to connect with your neighbours, your community, and the history of Hamilton! Find a walk near you here: 

Annual alpaca shearing at Husky Alpaca Ranch. Weekend filled with farm activities, vendors, food truck, and more!

Visitors can see how the alpaca get their annual hair cut, learn a little bit about the animals on the farm, visit local vendors, and enjoy the fresh air on the farm.
