Little Library is a Canadian non-profit organization raising funds to support children’s education in Guyana. 

Join the 8th Annual Canadian Walk for Veterans for the first time Join the 8th Annual Canadian Walk for Veterans for the first time in Hamilton, taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Dieppe Veterans Memorial Park, located at 1003 Beach Blvd, Hamilton, ON. This national event brings communities together to honour Canadian veterans, first responders, and their families, while raising awareness and support for those who have served. Hosted in partnership with the True Patriot Love Foundation and One Veteran Society, the walk is open to individuals and teams, with opportunities to fundraise and receive a commemorative Challenge Coin.

It’s not just a festival; it’s an experience woven with the golden threads of community, celebration and the rich bounty of the harvest season.  Listed as a Top 100 Festival in Ontario (10 years) and winner of the 2018 #GoodTimesIn Brant award, St. George Apple Fest is an affordable family outing. It is a fantastic festival highlighting apples, baking, crafts, artisans, live entertainment, kids' activities with a children’s entertainment stage & much more.  Enjoy the ongoing entertainment on the Main Stage from the adjoining licensed beer garden.  Savour samples of treats as you meander through the kaleidoscope of colour produced by crafts from near & far offered by over 130 vendors.  Local farm markets display an array of fresh produce and delicious preserves.  Enjoy a FREE Street Party on Saturday night.  FREE admission. FREE parking.  FREE shuttle.  Fully accessible.  Coaches are welcome.  St. George Apple Fest - “Something 'a-peeling' for Everyone".
