  • Misfit Market

Misfit Market: A Community Arts & Crafts Market

The Misfit Market is a vibrant, community-driven event that celebrates creativity, connection, and local businesses. Hosted every other Sunday from January to April 2025 at Mahtay Café in St. Catharines, this market brings together a diverse group of emerging artists, crafters, and small businesses offering unique, handmade goods.

Whether you’re shopping for original artwork, one-of-a-kind jewelry, handcrafted home decor, or local treats, the Misfit Market offers something for everyone. It’s an inclusive space where vendors are just starting out and looking to make their mark in the world of art and small business.

What sets the Misfit Market apart is its commitment to supporting those in need. 10% of all sales made at the market, along with a portion of the vendor fees, are donated to Gillian’s Place, an organization that provides safety and resources for women and children escaping domestic violence.

With live music performances, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Misfit Market is more than just a place to shop—it’s an opportunity to support local creators, connect with the community, and make a positive impact. Join us as we bring together the best of St. Catharines and beyond, one creative vendor at a time.
